Admin features

For administrators. These features are permission-gated. If you don't see one of them in your sidebar, your account doesn't have access — most staff won't, and that's expected.

Permissions are granted individually, not by fixed role, so an administrator can give each person exactly what they need. Here are the admin and configuration areas and the permission each one requires.

Team Members

Manage who has access and what they can do. Requires Manage Users.

Adding users

  1. Click Team Members in the sidebar

  2. Click New User

  3. Enter one or more email addresses

  4. Select the default permissions to grant

  5. Save

Each person gets an email to sign in — they'll use a magic link, so there's no password to set up.

Editing a user's permissions

  1. Click the edit (pencil) icon on the user's row to open their detail page

  2. Toggle the permissions on or off

  3. Save

Removing a user

Click the trash icon on the user's row and confirm. They'll lose access right away.

Integrations

Check the health of the connections between Permit Guide and your external systems. Requires Manage Integrations.

Each integration shows its status (OK, Error, or Unknown), when it was last checked, a summary of its configuration, and a test panel you can use to run a connectivity check.

If something shows an error

Contact Govstream.ai support with which integration is failing, any error message shown, and when it last worked if you know.
